Many families either have faced or will face a situation in which a parent, sibling or child need some care assistance. This assistance might be due to a family member who is beginning to experience health related concerns such as memory loss, mild dementia, Alzheimer's, or Parkinson's disease. In other examples, the need might relate to being discharged from the hospital or needing follow up care after a surgery.

Regardless of the cause, the family will do its best to rally around the challenge and handle it. But all too often, the family may need help as a result of siblings and spouses who have full time jobs, their own or other children that require attention, or perhaps the family member in need does not have any family that lives nearby. Whatever the case may be, these limitations prevent them from "being there" and delivering the hands-on care that is necessary.

At Home Preferred helps these families by providing home care assistance and senior care services that relate to the routine activities of daily living. We exist to help families remain in their respective roles of spouse, son or daughter and carrying on with their lives, while providing the support and relief to the family member in need so that he or she can continue to live in the place that is familiar, safe and preferable - their home. We do this by carefully analyzing the needs of our clients and then selecting a home assistance caregiver or team of caregivers that can blend into the home environment in a caring and unobtrusive way.
